Engineer Bio:
Steve received his B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois in 1981. He worked for a consultant for one year. In 1982, he started at Henry County. Steve was named County Engineer in 1987. He was honored as Zone 1 County Engineer of the Year in 1997.

Established on January 13, 1825, Henry County is named after Patrick Henry, a lawyer, orator and statesman of the Revolutionary period, a member of the Continental Congress, and Governor of Virginia.
