Engineer Bio:
Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Southern Illinois University - Carbondale in 1992. Kevin is a licensed Professional Engineer in Illinois. Kevin was appointed County Engineer in Union County in 2008. His prior experience includes twenty two years with the Illinois Department of Transportation in the District 9 Office in Carbondale. While with IDOT, Kevin held the positions of Bridge and Hydraulics Engineer, Traffic Operations Engineer and Operations Engineer. Kevin serves as Vice Chairman of the Constitution/Bylaws and Emergency Preparedness Committee and a member of the Executive Director and Audit Committee for the Illinois Association of County Engineers. Kevinís experience has allowed him the opportunity to work with several counties, other than just Union, to bring their aging levee systems in to compliance with increasing United States Corps of Engineers regulations. Kevin is an avid outdoorsman. With Becky, his wife, and their five children, they enjoy gardening, traveling, family and working around their home.
