Engineer Bio:
Jeff received a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana in 1979. He worked for the Illinois Department of Transportation, District 5, as an engineer from 1979 through September 2010. In October 2010 he was appointed County Engineer for Moultrie County.


County Background:
Established on February 16, 1843, Moultrie County is named after William Moultrie, a General of the Revolution, who built Fort Moultrie and successfully defended it. Moultrie County enjoys Lake Shelbyville's recreational facilities and is located in the most fertile farm land in the world.
